Career and Life Skills resources promote wellness through building and maintaining successful skills for future or current careers, including internships, employment, and financial planning.
- Butler IT—Provides information on various computer hardware and software discounts for students.
- BUWell Journal—BU Well is a student-run, open-access journal, which operates as a class here at Butler. The journal engages students, faculty, and outside authors to submit articles for consideration in their annual volume published each spring. Students in their second year of BU Well compile the executive team and lead those in their first year through each step in article editing and multimedia production. BU Well course numbers include RX or BSHS 375, 376, 377, and 378. - Career and Professional Success (CaPS)—is committed to providing and supporting learning opportunities for self assessment and reflection, experiential education, and career exploration. CaPS is equally committed to building and sustaining relationships with high integrity employers for the mutual benefit of their organization and Butler students and alumni.
- Center for Citizenship and Community (CCC)—Connects students with active service learning and engagement opportunities within the Indianapolis community.
- The Compass Center—Seeks to provide opportunities for students, faculty, and staff to reflect on their own passions and how to connect the life they lead to a sense of purpose and meaning. The Compass Center also provides paid internship opportunities each semester; information can be found here.
- Counseling and Consultation Services (HRC)—Butler’s licensed and professionally trained staff offers counseling services to all currently enrolled students. We strive to provide students with the support and resources they need to help them achieve their personal and academic goals and enhance their experience while in college.
